1.0 Delivery
1.1 EXPANSYS operates multiple warehouses around the globe. Occasionally we may ship orders to US customers from warehouses outside of the USA. In this event, the customer will still receive a clean delivery with no duties or taxes payable by the customer.

1.2 Where an incorrect address has been given to EXPANSYS Inc with the order we reserve the right to charge for any extra carriage costs incurred.

1.4 All items are subject to stock availability.

1.5 Sales tax is also charged on all shipping charges for orders delivered in Illinois.

2.0 Returns and Warranty Information
2.1 For help setting up your merchandise or installing software please contact the technical support department of the manufacturer, or visit our technical forum.

2.2 EXPANSYS Inc must test all returned products before we can issue a refund or exchange any products. This is necessary so we are able to file claims on defective or damaged goods with the manufacturer or the shipping company.

2.3 If your goods arrive defective or in a damaged state, email returns@expansys-usa.com with your order number and a brief explanation of the situation. You will be emailed the steps for completing the exchange. Claims for damage, delivery discrepancy etc. should be made within 48 hours of delivery - claims will not be accepted after this time. You have 15 days to report defective goods. After 15 days, you MUST contact the manufacturer to redeem your warranty, please do not contact EXPANSYS Inc.

2.4 Certain import smartphones, tablets, and other devices may only be covered under warranty in the country of origin. In the event of a warranty claim, EXPANSYS USA will facilitate the warranty procedure for the customer for 6 months from the date of sale. Please contact EXPANSYS USA with any questions as to the warranty of your purchase. EXPANSYS USA also offers an Extended Service Plan (ESP) on most smartphones and tablets to extend coverage of mechanical and electrical failures for up to 18 months from the date of sale. The ESP must be purchased at time of order, and cannot be added to orders once shipped.

Although EXPANSYS offers a 15 day return policy for most products, we are restricted from returning certain items such as the AR.Drone and Zikmu Speakers. These items will be supported via the manufacturer from the date of the sale. EXPANSYS will not accept returns on these items, except in the event of a damaged shipment claim. Customer must contact manufacturer, Parrot, directly for any warranty, technical, return, and repair issues for the AR.Drone and Zikmu Speakers. Please call Parrot Technical Support – 1-877-9Parrot.

Please note that your MUST have an RMA # prior to returning your product.

2.5 If you are shipped an overage/shortage or incorrect goods in comparison to your invoice, EXPANSYS Inc will pay the shipping costs to fix the error. Claims for damage, delivery discrepancy etc. should be made within 48 hours of delivery - claims will not be accepted after this time. Email returns@expansys-usa.com with the order number and a brief explanation of the situation. You will be emailed further instructions.

2.6 If the goods are NOT defective and you wish to return them you have 15 days from when the package arrives to return the goods for a refund. Return items must be in As-New condition and include all packaging and documentation. If good are not in As-New condition or are missing packaging or documentation, EXPANSYS may either refuse the return or charge a re-stocking fee between 10% and 25% depending on the condition of the returned items. You will need to email returns@expansys-usa.com with a brief explanation of the situation. A refund will be provided within 30 days after the merchandise is received at our warehouse. You will not be refunded the delivery costs.

2.7 Software that has been opened is not eligible for a refund. Opened software may only be exchanged for the same title. Unopened software may be returned in like new condition within 15 days.

2.8 Please note that "B-Stock", "Refurbished", and "Open Box" items are NOT new and are sold on a strict "first-come, first served" basis. Customer has 30 days from time of delivery to notify EXPANSYS of a defective or incorrectly described item. Defects listed in the product description or which do not affect the usability of the device are ineligible for return. B-Stock, Refurbished, or Open Box items may NOT be returned for any reason other than defect or incorrect descriptions on the EXPANSYS.ca website.

2.9 Returned goods remain the property and responsibility of the customer until EXPANSYS signs acceptance of the return shipment. We strongly advise customers to use secure, signed for service for return shipping. If you do not receive an email response within 2 business days, please email amo@expansys.com or call 309.820.7913 to report your case.

2.10 Special order items are NOT eligible for cancellation, return, or refund. Please contact a sales associate for details at 309-834-0323.

3.0 Sales Tax
3.1 Sales tax includes GST, PST, brokerage fees, duties and other import fees. We pay these charges to the Canadian government to allow our customers to receive a clean delivery.
3.2 If desired, the customer can pay for the import fees themselves upon receipt of their package. In order to do this the customer will need to contact our call center when placing the order.
3.3 For all countries outside of the EU, for example USA, Switzerland or Taiwan - no VAT is charged.
3.4 Our office is located in Illinois, we are obliged to charge sales tax for orders within this state.
3.5 Many countries charge duty and or taxes on goods at the point of import, these will normally be collected by the courier used to deliver the goods - this is a charge levied by your government not by EXPANSYS and we have no control over it. THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF THESE ADDITIONAL COSTS. 4.0 Privacy
4.1 What information do we collect? We collect certain personal information that you give us while visiting our website. You give us information when you communicate with us by email or when you provide any information about yourself on any form on our website, such as by filling out an inquiry or questionnaire, or by starting a shopping cart. As a result of these actions, you might supply us with such information as your name, phone number, address, email address, credit card information, financial information, and any other personal information that you choose to share with us.

We also automatically collect certain non-personal information when you visit and interact with this website. For example, we may collect and store your IP address, reference site domain name, and demographic information. We also may collect information regarding your traffic patterns and usage while on our website.

4.2 We aim to offer a top quality service at the best price possible, to do this we need to reserve the right to change the above policies at any time.

4.3 All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998

4.5 We can provide a full schedule of all information collected on an individual for a fee of £10.00, we will require significant proof of identification. In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 the information will be provided within 40 days of required level of identification.

5.0 Security
5.1 On order processing pages we use a 1024bit certificate.

5.3 We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorized access to information provided by you.

6.0 Pricing
6.1 While we take every measure to ensure the prices on our website are as accurate as possible, we reserve the right to change a price in exceptional circumstances. If a price is corrected due to exceptional circumstances, customers will be informed of the change before payment is processed and offered the opportunity to cancel the order.

6.2 If an order is placed for an item with an erroneous price, and the erroneous price is less than the cost price of the item, we reserve the right to offer to process the order at cost price or the the opportunity for the customer to cancel the order.

6.3 Prices on orders for out-of-stock or pre-release items are valid for one week after the order is placed. If the price changes when stock becomes available customers will be informed of the change before payment is processed and offered the opportunity to cancel the order.

6.4 EXPANSYS Inc will honor requests for credits on price drops that occur within 5 working days of the original invoice date. Price drops beyond this date will not be matched.

6.5 In the event of payment default the customer will be responsible for all of EXPANSYS Inc's cost of collection, included but not limited to court costs, filing fees and attorney fees.

7.0 Business Customers
7.1 If you are a business customer or if the goods are used wholly or in part for business purposes, we shall not be liable to you for any business loss including loss of profits, (whether direct or indirect) data, revenue, goodwill, or incidental, or consequential loss that you may suffer as a result of the purchase of goods from us. Any other liability shall be limited to the price paid for the goods.

7.2 If you have a credit account with us payment is due 30 days after the date of our invoice and we may charge interest for late payment. If customer is late in payments EXPANSYS Inc reserves the right to suspend shipments until payment is received.

8.0 General
8.1 We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason.

8.2 EXPANSYS USA cannot accept credit cards issued outside of the USA, Canada or Mexico.

9.0 Email Transmission

Email transmission is confidential and intended solely for the person or organisation to whom it is addressed. It may contain privileged and confidential information. If you are not the intended recipient, you should not copy, distribute or take any action in reliance on it. If you believe you received this transmission in error, please notify the sender.
