Description
Socket's Serial I/O PC Card adds 2 fast serial COM port to mobile computers for attaching fax/modems, bar code scanners, court reporters, data acquisition equipment, mag stripe readers, GPS receivers, digital cameras or other RS-232 serial devices.
The world's most popular PC Card serial adapters are certified by Microsoft for Windows CE/95/98/NT/2000. Socket's High-Integration Serial (HIS) chip reduces chip count to improve reliability and reduce power consumption. The Serial I/O Card uses only 13 mA on average compared to over 100 mA for most other serial cards. This extends the battery life of your mobile computer in situations where AC power is unavailable.
The card is Win9x, Windows CE, NT, 3.x, 2000 and DOS compatible with 2 9 Pin RS232 Connections.
