Phone runs down with charger.

Good value, but the car charger doesn't supply enough charge to charge the phone while GPS (and Wireless / Bluetooth) is being used at the same time and after a long trip the phone will be on low battery when unplugged. Forums suggest phone draws 1A when on AC charger, but only 500mA when on typical USB (computer / car) charger. HTC's car charger claims to supply 1A and so may fool the Desire into thinking it's on an AC charger.
